Obituary: Martha Gertrude Wizner

A recitation of the Rosary and Mass of Resurrection for Martha Gertrude Wizner, 94, a Gardnerville resident for the past seven years, will be at 9 a.m. Friday, at St. Gall Catholic Church in Gardnerville.

Mrs. Wizner died Nov. 7, 1999, in Gardnerville. She was born Jan. 30, 1905, in Superior, Wis., to Felix and Laudie Osiecki Stachelski.

Before moving to Gardnerville, she lived in Woodland Hills, Calif.

Mrs. Wizner was a member of St. Gall Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph G. on Dec. 28, 1984 in Canoga Park, Calif.; sister, Alice, and brother, Joseph Stachelski.

Among her survivors are her son, Joseph E., of Gardnerville; brother, Eddie Stachelski, of Milwaukee, Wis.; sister, Stella Michaels, of Virginia, Betty VanDerport, of Milwaukee, Agnes Ullmer, of Las Vegas, and Anne Kornhoff, of Forest Park, Wis.; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home, Gardnerville, is in charge of arrangements.
