The Carson Coyotes Senior Babe Ruth Baseball team had a tough time in dropping a doubleheader to the Winnemucca Badgers.

Carson lost the opener 13-2 and the nightcap 19-4. Josh Camper struck out six through four innings in the opener as the Badgers were able to take advantage the Coyotes struggles defensively. The Badgers scored 13 runs on just six hits. Camper went 2-for-2 and Jarrod Bone, Adam Anderson and Chris Ames all added a hit for the Coyotes.

In the nightcap, the Badgers banged out 17 hits. Jason Knowles and Ames combined to strike out six. Brad Breeden, Anderson, Camper and Jack Maloney all had a hit for the Coyotes.
