Harvey J. Quinton

A funeral for Harvey J. Quinton, 88, a four-year Carson City resident, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.

Mr. Quinton died Aug. 3, 2006, in Carson City. He was born Aug. 28, 1917, in Inola, Okla., to John Quinton and Ruby Button.

He married Dovie Quinton on Jan. 22, 1940, in Cowesta, Okla.

Before moving to Carson City, Mr. Quinton lived in Coolidge, Ariz.

He was a mechanic.

He was preceded in death by his wife on Dec. 21, 2003, in Carson City.

Among his survivors are his sons and daughters-in-law Don and Audra Quinton of Junction City, Ore., and David and Barbara Quinton of Tucson, Ariz.; daughter and son-in-law Shirley and Larry Gibson of Carson City; several sisters and brothers, five grandsons and several great-grandchildren.

Burial will be at Walton's Carson Gardens.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
