Billie Ruth Voris, 78, a four-year Carson City resident, died Feb. 19, 2006, in Carson City.
Mrs. Voris was born July 14, 1927, in White Flat, Texas, to Clifton and Lillian Lowder.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Redwood City, Calif.
She enjoyed reading.
She was preceded in death by her son Kenneth Warren Voris; daughter Marlene Voris; brother Gene Lowder and sister Mabel Jurgens.
Among her survivors are her husband, Roy Voris, of Carson City; sons Don Voris of Arizona and Jerry Voris of Carson City; sisters Lorene Bell of Bozeman, Mont., and Georgia Faulstich of Wilseyville, Calif., eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Entombment will be in Skylawn Memorial Park in San Mateo, Calif.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
