Mary C. Oren, 57, a two-year Minden resident, died May 29, 2006, in Reno.
Mrs. Oren was born June 25, 1948, in Colorado to Charles Moorhead and Margaret May.
She married David Oren on Dec. 21, 1969.
Before moving to Minden, Mrs. Oren lived in Northridge, Calif.
She enjoyed painting and her pets.
She was an AYSO Administrator.
She participated in AYSO soccer and National AYSO Referee development and training. She was Jewish.
Among her survivors are her mother of Camarillo. Calif; husband of Minden; daughter Bethany Edeen of South Lake Tahoe; sons Shane Oren of Portland, Ore., and Darin Oren of Gardnerville; sister Nana Morris of Santa Barbara, Calif.; brothers Chuck Moorhead of Simi Valley, Calif., and Bruce Morehead of North Hollywood, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
Cremation took place at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
