Lillian F. Witt

Lillian F. Witt, 84, a 14-year Wellington resident, died Nov. 1, 2006, in Carson City.

Mrs. Witt was born March 16, 1922, in Van Nuys, Calif., to Comer and Alice Tate.

She married Rudy Witt on Sept. 4, 1964, in North Hollywood, Calif.

Before moving to Wellington, Mrs. Witt lived in Simi Valley, Calif.

She enjoyed traveling and flowers.

She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters.

Among her survivors are her husband, of Wellington; son and daughter-in-law Asa and Cathy Garl of Canby, Ore.; sons Tim Johnston of Reno, Gary Witt of Tennessee and David Witt of San Francisco, Calif.; daughter Denise Ann Riley of Oklahoma; daughters and sons-in-law Sandra and John Schroeder of Grass Valley, Calif., and Pamela and Dave Wilder of Santa Clarita, Calif.; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
