Douglas boys soccer, Carson JV boys soccer win

DOUGLAS 8, DAMONTE 0

Edgar Arceo scored all four of Douglas High's goals in the first half in the Tigers' win over Damonte Ranch. Andrew Andraski, Jeff Hulsey and Dustin Goldade assisted on three of Arceo's goals.

Arceo also assisted on Michael Gransbery's goal, Michael Barnes scored twice, with one of his goals coming on an assist from Gransbery, and Jeff Crozier came out of the box to play in the field and scored on an assist from Andraski.

Gransbery has 12 goals on the season and 43 for his career. Douglas outshot Damonte 33-3. Crozier, and Gransbery, who finished up at goalie, combined for the shutout.

Ray Kaffer, Jake O'Farrell, Derek Cantley, Kyle Mannshreck and Geff Rahe all also played well for Douglas (7-1, 1-1).

CARSON JVS 9, HUG 0

Uriel Duran and Victor Arreguin each had two goals and an assist, Ian Gunn scored twice, Israel Lopez and Luis Gonzalez each scored once, Brian Duran had a goal and an assist and Miguel Camacho, Moses Romo-Fernandez and Chase Losche all added an assist for Carson (4-0, 2-0).

Goalie Pedro Chavez posted the shutout. Jorge Guevara, Guillermo Alonzo, Aldo Del Rosa, Brian Duran and Spencer Roberts all played well defensively and Javier Barrios also played well.
