A funeral for Donna Jean Koehler, 59, a 25-year Carson City resident, will be at noon Saturday at FitzHenry's Chapel of Faith in Carson City. A viewing will take place two hours prior to the service, and visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Friday.

Mrs. Koehler died Sept. 25, 2006, at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center.

She was born March 1, 1947, in Lackawanna, N.Y., to Ernest Beetow and Alice Lesch.

She married Glenn C. Koehler Oct. 25, 1964, in Columbia, S.C.

Before moving to Carson City, Mrs. Koehler lived in Buffalo, N.Y.

She was a general administrator for Horizon Casino-Resort, retiring with disability in 2005.

She enjoyed Christmas, football, especially the Buffalo Bills, and open-wheel automobile racing.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jerome Beetow.

Among her survivors are her husband of Carson City; son Glenn C. Koehler Jr. of Carson City; daughters Marjorie Rumbold of North Port, Fla., and Jean and Jane Koehler of West Seneca, N.Y.; sister, Bonnie Costas of Las Vegas; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Memorial donations may be made for the construction of a children's foster home to the Austin Kirby Foundation, P.O. Box 1923, Minden, NV, 89423.
