Robert Gale Perry, 82, a 39-year Minden resident, died July 9, 2007, at his home.
Mr. Perry was born May 7, 1925, in Carbondale, Kan., to Robert and Martha Dodson Perry. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, and worked as a carpenter after the war.
He married Georgianna McKinzey on Sept. 25, 1987. He enjoyed being an amateur prospector.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Lola Mae Popjoy.
Among his survivors are his wife of Minden; son, Terry Perry of Tucson, Ariz.; daughters and sons-in-law Gale and Turk Carr of Tucson, Jackie and Jeff Gorton of Gardnerville and Shannon and Robert Geraldo of Minden; sister and brother-in-law Beverly and Jack Denney of St. Petersburg, Fla.; six grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
No services are planned.
Capital City Cremations and Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
