Maxine Ruth Pecnik, 87, a 10-year Gardnerville resident died July 26, 2007, in Carson City.
She was born June 21, 1920, to Earl Homer and Ruth Flannagan in Omaha, Neb. She married Charles Carl Pecnik in Lakewood, Wash. She was a high school graduate. Mrs. Pecnik worked for the State of Nevada. She enjoyed house and yard renovations.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
Among her survivors are son Terry Carl Pecnik; daughter Patricia Joy Smith; brother Walt Alois Walter; sister Earldene Bernice Walter; two grandchildren, one great-grandchild and 12 nieces and nephews.
No services will be held.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
