CARSON CITY

The lunch menu for the Carson City Senior Citizens Center, 911 Beverly Dr.:

Monday: Hamburger cornbread pie, spinach salad with red onion and egg, spiced pears, Jell-O with whipped topping, roll, margarine.

Tuesday: French dip with au jus, wedge potatoes, pickled beets, berries in the cloud, cookie.

Wednesday: Spaghetti with meatballs, layered salad, diced apricots, garlic bread, ice cream.

Thursday: Tuna casserole, cooked spinach, Waldorf salad, biscuit with apple butter, tomato rice soup.

Friday: Barbecue chicken, baked beans, banana squash, ambrosia, cornbread with honey butter.

DAYTON

The lunch menu for the Dayton Senior Center, 320 Old Dayton Valley Road:

Monday: Spaghetti with meat sauce, cauliflower, garlic bread, fruit pie.

Tuesday: Swiss burger, broccoli, cauliflower, fries, spiced pears, brownie.

Wednesday: Lemon pepper fish, rice, squash, three-bean salad, peaches.

Thursday: Hot turkey sandwich, mashed potatoes with gravy, cucumber/tomato/onion salad, banana, cookie.

Friday: Breakfast, 9-10 a.m. Baked omelet, ham, cinnamon rolls, fresh fruit, V8 and orange juice.

DOUGLAS COUNTY

The lunch menu for the Douglas County Senior Center, 2300 Meadow Lane:

Monday: Pot roast with potatoes, onion, carrots, celery, and gravy, green salad, french bread, pears, cake.

Tuesday: Fish sticks, pea salad, macaroni and cheese, tarter sauce, peach cup, lemon pudding.

Wednesday: Sloppy Joe, baby carrots, baked beans, fruit cocktail.

Thursday: Bean with bacon soup, ham sandwich, pasta salad, fresh fruit cup.

Friday: Taco salad bowl, lettuce, salsa, tomato, cheese and sour cream, Spanish rice, apple crisptos.

Fernley

The menu for the Fernley Senior Center 1170 W. Newlands Drive:

Monday: Oven baked chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, green salad, peaches.

Tuesday: Philly cheese steak, broccoli, pineapple Jell-O salad, Tater Tots.

Wednesday: Tuna casserole, green salad, orange slices, bread.

Thursday: Ham and scalloped potatoes, green beans, roll with butter, pears, cookie.

Friday: Baked meatloaf, rice casserole, beets, with orange sauce, carrot and celery sticks, wheat bread with margarine, banana.

Silver Springs

The dinner menu for the Silver Springs Senior Center, 1050 Pyramid Ave. for the week of March 26-30:

Monday: Barbecue Philly steak sandwich, onions, peppers, broccoli, Tater Tots, peach and pineapple.

Tuesday: Turkey pot pie, green beans with mushrooms, mixed fruit, sherbet, roll with butter.

Wednesday: Polish sausage and potato casserole, stewed tomatoes, peach cobbler, roll with butter.

Thursday: Hot beef sandwich, mashed potatoes with gravy, broccoli, baked apples, orange juice.

Friday: Salmon steak, hollandaise pea sauce, carrot-raisin salad, pineapple rings, bread stick.

Storey County

The Storey County Senior Citizens Center is located on the corner of E and Mill streets in Virginia City:

Monday: Beef vegetable soup, Mexican corn pie, mixed green salad, orange.

Tuesday: Turkey pot pie, mixed green salad, grain bread, apple.

Wednesday: Baked meatloaf, mashed potatoes, spinach, lettuce and tomato salad, whole wheat bread, Chantilly fruit cup.

Thursday: Herb baked chicken, baked potato with sour cream and chives, herbed veggie medley, whole wheat bread, apple.

Friday: Corn potato chowder, turkey sandwich, carrot raisin salad, mixed berries.
