Frank Russell Weiss

A memorial service for Frank Russell Weiss, 49, a Minden resident for the past 30 years, will be at a later date.

Mr. Weiss died May 15, 2007, in Carson City. He was born July 25, 1957, in Fairfield, Calif., to Frank Rutter and Christine Catherine Weiss.

Mr. Weiss worked for 30 years for Contel/Verizon Telephone Co.

He was a classic Chevy car enthusiast known as Mr. 57.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Among his survivors are his children Melissa Weiss and Jennica Hoyt, both of Reno and Samantha Schmid of Seattle; brothers Jim of Sonora, Calif., and John of Carson City and two grandchildren.

Cremation will be at Walton's.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
