Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Jennifer Nicole Hedgecock, 21, was arrested at 6:02 p.m. Monday on suspicion of three counts of felony possession of a prescription drug without a prescription and petty larceny. Hedgecock allegedly stole underwear and jewelry from Gottschalks.

• A 72-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 2:38 a.m. at a bar in the 300 block of East William Street on suspicion of misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $237.

• A 42-year-old woodworker from Mound House was arrested Monday at 2:31 p.m. at Butti Way and Fairview Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear. Bail was set at $394.

• A 21-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 1:49 a.m. at Roop and Long streets on suspicion of second-offense drunken driving and speeding. Bail was set at $2,698.

• A 21-year-old unemployed Gardnerville man was arrested at 12:12 p.m. Monday at Nevada and Park streets on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery and destruction of property. Bail was set at $3,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• A woman reported her husband had been drinking for days and he pushed her at 6:34 a.m.

• A 1991 Dodge sedan was reported stolen from the 3300 block of South Carson Street at 4:42 a.m. The vehicle was located later in the day.

• Coroner call in the 200 block of Koontz Lane at 8:36 a.m.

• Coroner call in the 2100 block of California Street at 11:05 a.m.

• Fraud report on Dori Way at 12:09 p.m.

• A man reported at 1:06 p.m. that his wife punched him in the face on East Long Street.

• Accident at East Spear and North Stewart streets at 3:23 p.m.

• Vehicle burglary report on Tonopah Street in Silver Springs at 6:07 a.m.

• Vehicle burglary report on Toiyabe Street in Silver Springs at 9:11 a.m.

• Report at 8:11 a.m. of steel stolen from Industrial Drive in Fernley.

• Misdemeanor arrest following a battery report on Curry Lane in Fernley at 11:18 a.m.

• Burglary report on Toiyabe Street in Silver Springs at 5:19 p.m.

• Report of a cussing man swinging a chain at 5:08 a.m. on Autumn Glen in Fernley.

• Felony arrest on Retail Road in Dayton at 10:12 p.m.
