Capital City Volleyball Club offers clinic

Capital City Volleyball Club of Carson City will host a clinic for girls in grades six-eighth on Saturday and Sunday, February 23 and 24, at its facility located at 5680 Morgan Mill Road.

Cost for the two day clinic is $50. Registration information can be found at www.capitalcityvbc.com.

The Club also wants to add new teams comprised of players from grades six through eight. Capital City VBC, which presently has four teams in these age groups, would like to add one or two more teams by March 3.

Carson Babe Ruth signups

Signups for Carson City Babe Ruth Baseball will be accepted through March 15. Tryouts will be held on March 15 and signups will be accepted then as well.

Males and females ages 13-18 and living in the Carson City area and males and females ages 16-18 living in Carson City, Lyon County, Storey County, South Tahoe, Minden, Gardnerville and the Topaz and Walker are invited to the tryouts at 9 a.m. at Governor's Field. Cost is $120 per player.
