Margaret Katherine Faverty

Margaret Katherine Faverty was born July 3, 1921, in Kansas City, Kansas to Walter and Helen Glenn. She went to be with her Savior Jesus Christ June 19, 2008.

She was preceded in death by her husband Roy L. Faverty of Nevada and daughter Camille Helget of Utah.

She is survived by her sons Roy Lee Faverty of Boulder, Colo. and Christopher Clay Faverty of Puyallup, Wash.; daughters Cynthia Celeste Faverty of Fair Play, S.C., and Candace Clarice Faverty of Littleton, Colo.; 17 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Margaret lived in Kansas City till age 20 when she married Roy Lee Faverty and moved to San Francisco. She had five children with Roy and spent most of her early-married life being "mom". The Faverty family moved to Carson City in 1970 and she helped run a successful family business there for 10 years. After her husband died in 1979 she traveled and visited some of the great cities of the world. In 1986 she started a local chapter of hospice in Carson City and retried from that position in 1997. In 2006 she moved from Carson City to Puyallup, Wash. to be closer to family.

She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, July 12, 2008 at Lighthouse Christian Center Puyallup, Wash. Family and friends are welcome.
