Free trout fishing clinic By NDOW on July 26

The Nevada Division of Wildlife (NDOW) is sponsoring a free, trout fishing clinic on Saturday, July 26.

It will be held from 8 a.m. until about noon at Mayberry Park in Reno.

The clinic is designed for entry level anglers, and will demonstrate reading water, basic spinning and fly fishing techniques for trout.

There is a minimum age of 10 years to participate. A parent or guardian must accompany all children under the age of 16.

A fishing license is required for all who are 12 years of age or older.

Pre-Registration is required.

The clinic is limited to the first 20 sign-ups on a first-come, first served basis.

Participants are requested to provide their own tackle.
