MS Society seeks volunteers for bike event in September


Muscular Sclerosis Society is asking for volunteers to assist at the annual Bike MS event, Sept.13-Sept. 14. Cyclists will ride the distance around Lake Tahoe and will ride through Truckee and up Donner Pass. Meals are provided, and lodging is discounted. College to hold pow wow in Minden


Western Nevada College Douglas hosts a Pow wow on the Minden campus, noon, Saturday-Sunday. Festivities will begin with a grand entry, followed by competitions.
