I think the more positive items we can share about the children in our community the better.

Shannon Bell sent over a news story that hit USA Today about her 18-year-old daughter, MacKena Bell. I had to share! MacKena, with the total support from her parents Kelly and Shannon Bell, and so many sponsors throughout the community, has finally made it to the top. Yes! Beautiful MacKena has hit the big time and will be featured in NASCAR's Whelen All American Series. MacKena was honored as Carson High School 2008 Prom Queen, and now will be juggling her racing, and attending Western Nevada College when she gets back from living the dream. Good luck and reach for the moon, Mackena. We all will be cheering you on in Carson City. Check out her Web site for her latest news or if you would like to help sponsor this young lady. www.mackenabell.com.
