The Goni Canyon Preservation League would like to give a special thank you to the following members and friends who volunteered April 26 at the annual Trash Clean-up Day:

Bill and Kitty Brown; Lynn Zonge and daughter, Zoey Gray; Craig Holmes and daughter, Sophie; Chuck Adams and son, Charlie; Greg Lehman and son and daughter, Caden and Brynn; Gary Lehman; Tricia and Stephen Lincoln; Kathy and Steve Storey; Mike Barrette, Perry and Diane Comeaux; Ralph Sifuentes; Shelly Aldean; Annette Mankins; John Roberts; Janie Ware; Allan and Bobbie Souligny; Lee and Linda Hobold; Theresa Trevethan; and Debbie Foster.

We would also like to express our appreciation to Cinderlite for donating one of their tractors to remove heavy objects; Waste Management for donating a large dumpster; and Starbucks at the Crossing for donating coffee for the volunteers.

The GCPL was formed in 1992 as an all-volunteer nonprofit neighborhood organization incorporated for the purpose of owning and maintaining more than 32 acres of open space. Members meet annually each spring to clean up trash and help preserve the semi-rural nature of the area for all to enjoy.
