Obituary: Betty J. McClelland

Betty J. McClelland, 80, of Dayton, died in Carson City Dec. 20, 2009. She was born in Amarillo, Texas, on Jan. 3, 1929, to T.P. and Maude Childers. She was preceded in death by husband Dick McClelland, sons Gregory and Gary Lee Powers; sister Thelma McCorkle and two great-grandchildren. Among her survivors are her daughter Diana Malekos; husband Norman; sons Larry Powers and Wayne Powers and wife Liz; sister Miona Evans; nine grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. A service will be on Jan. 3. Capitol City Cremation & Burial is in charge of arrangements.
