Obituary: Donnieta Louise Merkes

Donnieta Louise Merkes, 71, a Carson City resident died May 23, 2009. She was born May 22, 1938 to Horsey and Myrtle Pyetta in Gridley, Calif. Among her survivors are children Steven M. Merkes, Karen L. Seevers and Kenny A. Merkes all of Nevada, Vicky K. Mossi, of Yuba City, Calif.; brothers Burton Pyetta of California and Robert Pyetta of Oklahoma, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Memorial services were held May 28, 2009. Autumn Funerals & Cremations was in charge of arrangements.
