Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 32-year-old administrative assistant from Carson City was arrested at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the 700 block of Hot Springs Road on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.

• A 36-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 5:35 p.m. Tuesday in the 1000 block of Woodside Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor petty larceny, two counts of violation of a suspended sentence and obstruction of a peace officer. Bail was set at $6,454.

• A 28-year-old landscaper from Dayton was arrested at 9:45 p.m. Tuesday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $500.

• A 25-year-old Rancho Cordova, Calif., man was arrested at 2:06 a.m. Wednesday in the 500 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor destruction of property. Bail was set at $632.

• Jose Yovany Pinedo Zelaya, 23, unemployed of Carson City, was arrested at 10:21 p.m. Tuesday at Airport Road and Woodside Drive on suspicion of felony outstanding warrant for deportation. He is being held without bail.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Coroner call in the 800 block of South Carson Street at 11:53 a.m.

• Report of a purse and $100 missing from a home in the 3900 block of Village Drive. The burglar entered through a sliding door.

• Report of a duffel bag containing woman's items and prescription medications found in the 1400 block of East Long Street at 7:58 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Report of people shooting on Canal Road in Fernley at 8:22 a.m.

• Report of items stolen from the old Anaconda Copper Mine in Mason Valley at 10:49 a.m.

• Report of an intoxicated man throwing items at a bar owner on Highway 208 in Smith Valley at 3:09 p.m.

• Four propane tanks were stolen from the 200 block of Highway 95 Alternate in Fernley sometime before 6:16 p.m.

• A caller reported someone he knew just broke out the windows on his vehicle on Deodar Street in Silver Springs at 7:20 p.m.

• Misdemeanor arrest in the Jack in the Box parking lot in Dayton at 8:49 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• A caller asked for help to remove cattle from a lawn on Rue De La Orange in Lockwood at 8:35 a.m.

• Report of cows on Canyon Way causing a traffic hazard at 10:55 a.m.
