Virginia Florine Ulen, 73, died Aug. 30, 2009, in Carson City. She was born in Arkansas on Oct. 11, 1935, to Owen F. and Minnie M. Blassingame. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond G. Ulen, brother Thomas Eugene Blassingame, and sister Betty Jo West. Among her survivors are her daughters Linda Riffel (David) and Madeline Morris (Alan); sons John Dennis Wardlow (Macaela), and Owen Bradley Wardlow. Capitol City Cremation & Burial is in charge of arrangements.
