Carson City company inks contract

Phoenix Aerospace Inc. of Carson City landed a $225,000 contract to provide ground-support equipment to a major aerospace company and a $87,000 order for ground-support test equipment to be sold to the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency.

NBC to host breakfast meeting with Brian Sandoval

Republican gubernatorial candidate Brian Sandoval will speak at the next Nevada Business Connections breakfast meeting on Aug. 18.

Doors open at 7:30 a.m. Cost is $20 for members and $30 for guests.

Young professionals to host mixer

Carson City's The LED Light store, 511 Fairview Dr., will host a Young Business Professionals mix on Tuesday.

Cost is $5 for members and non-members. The event starts at 5:30 p.m. Appetizers and a no-host bar will be provided.
