Devil Pups camp applications accepted

If you are a young man or young woman ages 14-17, you may be eligible to attend the annual Devil Pups summer encampment at Camp Pendleton, Calif. The Marine Corps hosts and trains the candidates.

Don't let the name Devil Pups throw you. Marines are often referred to as Devil Dogs (a name that was bestowed upon them by the German soldiers with whom they were fighting during World War I). So Marines are Devil Dogs and the kids who complete the encampment are known as Devil Pups. We only accept good kids that are in good shape, physically and mentally.
