Bach's St. Matthew Passion to be presented Easter week

J.S. Bach's Passion According to St. Matthew will be presented by TOCCATA March 28 through April 3 with the first concert in the series on Palm Sunday, March 28 at 5:30 p.m. in Trinity Episcopal Church, Reno.

The St. Matthew Passion will be repeated on March 31 at 7 p.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church in South Lake Tahoe (530-544-3533) and a free concert on Good Friday, April 2 at 7 p.m. at St. Patrick's Episcopal Church in Incline Village (775-831-1418). The final presentation is free on April 3 at 3 p.m. at the Squaw Valley Chapel (530-525-4714). TOCCATA founder and Artistic Director James Rawie, will conduct all performances.

Tickets at the door are $20 for adults, $15 seniors, $5 students, and youth 12 and under are free with a paying adult.
