TOCCATA — Tahoe Symphony Orchestra and Chorus to mark Christ’s Passion

TOCCATA — Tahoe Symphony Orchestra and Chorus will perform its annual presentation of J. S. Bach’s masterpiece, the Passion according to St. Matthew, in three concerts, the first of which will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 29, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 501 California Ave. in Reno.

The program, in English, will feature selections from Part Two of the Passion. It will be repeated at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1041 Lyons Ave. in South Lake Tahoe, and at 7 p.m. on Good Friday, April 3, at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church, 341 Village Blvd. in Incline Village.

General admission to all concerts is $25 for adults, $20 for seniors, and $5 for students ages 19 to 23 with identification. Preferred seating is $35 and $15 for youth and students. Youth under 19 are admitted free in non-reserved seating.
