Sophie Juback, 87, died May 13, 2010. She was born on March 27, 1923, in Midtown, Manhattan, N.Y. To Mary and Jacob. She was preceded in death by her husband Martin Juback; brother Peter; daughter Nancy Cere of New Jersey; and son Alex of Carson City. She is survived by her daughter Mia Mansfield; sister-in-law Judith (Robert) Griffin and brother-in-law Robert Juback of Peru, Fla.; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, May 21 at Lone Mountain Cemetery with Chaplain Dan of St. Mary's Hospice presiding. Walton's Funeral Home in Carson City is in charge of arrangements.
