Hoopsters nab sweep over Dayton

The Churchill County Middle School girls basketball teams earned another sweep last week.

The Lady Wave eighth-graders dropped Dayton, 53-18, while the seventh-graders won 24-12.

Chandler McAlexander led the Fallon eighth-graders with 17 points. Kiana Arvizo added 12 followed by Kenna Hamlin with six, Taylor Ingram and Mackenzie Cutler with four and Alexis Jarret, Lorynn Fagg, Kaylynn Perez, Shelbi Schultz and Mayla Dahl each with two.

The seventh-graders, meanwhile, were led by Makenzee Moretto’s eight points, while Aspen Mori, Rylee Ott and Ramsi Dolan each scored four. Ariana Magana and Ashley Agaman each chipped in with two points.
