Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Woman arrested on two counts of child endangerment

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

Carson City

FRIDAY

At 3:05 p.m., a 33-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery near the 2100 block of Mayflower Way. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 5:45 p.m., a 51-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on two counts of domestic battery near the 2500 block of Kit Sierra Way. Bail was set at $6,000.

At 6:01 p.m., Daniel Phelps, 49, of Dayton was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription and trespassing after deputies responded to reports of a man at Carson-Tahoe Medical Center threatening hospital staff. Bail was set at $2,650.

At 9:08 p.m., a 29-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery-first offense. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 11:10 p.m., a 44-year-old Diamond Springs, Calif., man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense, child endangerment, fake plates, driving with a suspended license, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and speed 11-15 over after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Carson Street and Winnie Lane. Bail was set at $5,700.

At 11:23 p.m., a 48-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense and obstructing/resisting after deputies responded to reports of a domestic dispute near the 3000 block of Bunch Way. Bail was set at $1,300.

At 11:28 p.m., a 26-year-old Dayton man was arrested on suspicion of reckless driving and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies initiated a traffic stop near I-580 and College Parkway. Bail was set at $1,500.

SATURDAY

At 1:43 a.m., a 20-year-old Gardnerville woman was arrested on suspicion of contributing to delinquency and basic speed 1-10 over after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Roop and Telegraph Streets. Bail was set at $545.

At 2:37 a.m., a 30-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct after deputies responded to reports of a possibly intoxicated subject near 1500 block of Stewart Street. Bail was set at $150.

At 3:48 a.m., a 41-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense, driving with no valid license, failure to maintain a lane and taking a vehicle without owner’s permission after deputies respond to a non-injury accident near Fairview Drive and Butti Way. Bail was set at $3,640.

At 10 a.m., a 26-year-old Reno woman was arrested on suspicion of two counts of child neglect/endangerment after deputies responded to reports of a man struggling with police who may have been overdosing on drugs near the 1600 block of Linda Kay Court. Bail was set at $5,000.

At 2:20 p.m., a 25-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of petit larceny, two counts of battery, violation of pretrial supervision and possession of drug paraphernalia and a 24-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of accessory to petit larceny after deputies responded to reports of a man taking items from the Market Street Walmart. Bail for the 25-year-old was set at $6,250 and bail for the 24-year-old was set at $250.

SUNDAY

At 4:57 p.m., an 18-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense alcohol, cell phone violation and driving without a valid driver’s license after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 200 Applegate Drive.

At 7 p.m., a 37-year-old Reno man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery after deputies responded to reports of a child custody dispute near the 2400 block of Harvest Drive. Bail was set at $3,000.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
