Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Several people arrested for domestic battery

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

Carson City

FRIDAY

At 7:48 p.m., a 73-year-old Dayton man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after deputies responded to reports of a traffic sign knocked over near Fairview Drive and 5th Street. The suspect was detained at Fairview and Butti Way after deputies initiated a traffic stop. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 8:44 p.m., a 46-year-old Minden man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery warrant and failure to appear in court after deputies responded to reports of a domestic dispute near the 1700 block of Russell Way. Bail was set at $4,436.

SATURDAY

At 12:19 a.m., a 67-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI-second offense and failure to yield-right of way after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the South Carson Street Max Casino. Bail was set at $2,550.

At 2:59 a.m., a San Francisco man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and failure to maintain a lane after deputies responded to reports of a man passed out behind the wheel at the Winnie Lane McDonald’s drive through window. The suspect left and was later apprehended at the N. Carson Street Taco Bell. Bail was set at $1,050.

At 3:58 a.m., Elizabeth Hopkins-Sandoval, 25, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery and felony possession of a controlled substance after deputies observed a confrontation at Casino Fandango. Bail was set at $5,500.

At 7:28 a.m., a 25-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of accident hit and run after deputies responded to reports of a man hitting a parked vehicle and driving away near the 1900 block of Newman Place. Bail was set at $500.

At 3:22 p.m., Veronica Frasca, 57, of Sparks, was arrested on suspicion of felony larceny from a person after deputies responded to reports of a woman taking a walker from an elderly man at the Market Street Walmart. Bail was set at $10,000.

At 11:10 p.m., a 32-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery near Musser and Plaza streets. Bail was set at $3,000.

SUNDAY

At 3:26 a.m., a 23-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of violation of a suspended sentence after deputies initiated a traffic stop near North Carson and Rice streets. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 10:28 a.m., a 49-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear warrant after deputies responded to reports of a domestic dispute near the 4700 block of Ponderosa Drive. Bail was est at $1,128.

At 10:52 a.m., a 32-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery near the 1200 block of 5th Street. Bail was set $3,000.

At 4:36 p.m., Ryan Wilburn, 39, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony parole and probation violation after deputies initiated a traffic stop near College Parkway and Ormsby Boulevard. No bail was set.

At 8:34 p.m., a 35-year-old Sparks man was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court after deputies responded to reports of a suspicious subject near the Winnie Lane Salvation Army. Bail was set at $718.

At 11:12 p.m., a 34-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery near the 4700 block of Beckworth Court. Bail was set at $3,000.

MONDAY

At 10:04 a.m., a 24-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of stop sign violation and resisting a public officer after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Northgate and Nye. Bail was set at $152.

At 3:53 p.m., a 21-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Winnie and Victoria Lanes. Bail was set at $5,000.

At 5:45 p.m., a 34-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of violation of a suspended sentence after deputies initiated a warrant service near Roberta Way. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 11:50 p.m., a 49-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery and resisting arrest after deputies responded to a domestic battery near the 600 block of Carrie Drive. Bail was set at $3,300.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
