Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested on suspicion of DUI, hit and run

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

THURSDAY

At 1:51 p.m., a 41-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of license suspended and failure to appear warrant after deputies responded to reports of a suspicious subject driving near Tahoe Drive and Mountain Street and knocking on doors at different houses. Bail was set at $1,455.

At 5:33 p.m., a 44-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense and hit and run-occupied property after deputies responded to reports of a vehicle hitting the William Street Dotty’s Casino. Bail was set at $1,500.

FRIDAY

At 12:57 a.m., a 19-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-alcohol, possession of marijuana less than one ounce after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Research Way and College Parkway. Bail was set at $1,600.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
