Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Two people arrested on peitit larceny and battery

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

Carson City

THURSDAY

At 7:37 p.m., a 23-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies responded to a controlled substance call at the 1500 block of Lompa Lane. Bail was set at $2,000.

FRIDAY

At 10:08 p.m., Stephanie Collins, 37, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of possession of credit card without consent and probation violation. No bail was set.

At 10:31 p.m., Heather Woomer, 40, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies responded to reports of possible controlled substance sales. Bail was set at $5,500.

At 10:32 p.m., Erik Compton, 44, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, felony possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription, possession of drug paraphernalia and child neglect after deputies responded to reports of drug activity at the 1400 block of Rand Avenue. Bail was set at $8,500.

SATURDAY

At 2:48 p.m., a 21-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of battery. Bail was set at $500.

At 4:35 p.m., a 29-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery-first offense near Carson and Robinson streets. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 7:52 p.m., a 47-year-old transient woman was arrested on suspicion of petit larceny after deputies stopped a woman who was suspected of stealing beer near the 1600 block of E. 5th Street. Bail was set at $250.

At 9:06 p.m., a 42-year-old Carson City man and a 54 year-old Carson City woman were arrested on petit larceny and battery after deputies responded to reports of two uncooperative people being detained at the Carson Street Raley’s for shoplifting. Bail was set at $1,250 each.

At 9:36 p.m., a 23-year-old Sparks man was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana, open container and three warrants out of Sparks after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 2500 block of Carson Street. Bail was set at $2,714.

At 10:13 p.m., Kevin Harward, 52, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, felony probation violation, turn signal required, and improper turn at intersection after deputies initiated a traffic stop at the Carson Street AM/PM station. Bail was set at $2,565.

SUNDAY

At 12:23 a.m., a 24-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense after deputies responded to reports of a man unconscious under a motor scooter near the 700 block of Silver Oak Drive. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 3:32 a.m., a 22-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-second offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving without a valid driver’s license and warrant for contempt of court after deputies responded to a traffic accident near the 1700 block of North Carson Street. Bail was set at $4,100.

At 12:25 p.m., a 35-year-old Reno man was arrested on suspicion of DUI drugs after deputies initiated a traffic stop near William and Curry streets. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 8:05 p.m., a 33-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery-first offense. Bail was set at $3,000.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
