Commissioners meet tomorrow

The first County Commission meeting of April will be held Thursday at 8:15 a.m. at the Churchill County Administration Building chambers, 155 N. Taylor St.

Among the items commissioners will discuss and that are up for possible action include the following:

Consideration and possible action regarding presentation on responsibilities and duties of the public administrator and first quarter report.

Consideration and possible action regarding ratification of Bargaining Agreement between Churchill County and the Churchill County Sheriffs Deputies’ Association.

Consideration and possible action regarding modification to Retirement Incentive Administrative Policy.

Consideration and possible action regarding requests from four employees to participate in Churchill County’s Retirement Incentive Plan and the county’s purchase of PERS credits.

Consideration and possible action regarding approval of FTA 5311 grant for operations, FTA 5311/5339 grant for vehicle, and agreement for the purchase of a new bus for Churchill Area Regional Transportation (CART) if funds are available.

Consideration and possible action regarding resolution 09-2015 declaring a 1994 Ford F-150 pickup as surplus property and donating said vehicle to the city of Fallon.

Consideration and possible action regarding approval of request for Proposals Template to be used for major capital projects which utilize the Construction Manager at Risk delivery method.

Consideration and possible action regarding approval of request for proposals for construction manager at risk for detention center construction project.

Consideration and possible action regarding appointment of panel to rank and interview RFP submittals for detention center construction project and other matters related thereto.

Consideration and possible action regarding approval of using Frank Woodliff III for pre-construction services on the Senior Center construction project.

Consideration and possible action regarding renewal of agreement between Newlands Water Protective Association and Churchill County for professional services.

Consideration and possible action regarding appointment of member to the Churchill County Library Board of Trustees.

Consideration and possible action regarding approval of the Conservation Easement and Purchase Agreement Proposal for Storm’s Oasis Dairy.
