Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested on suspicion of eluding, four counts of possession

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

Carson City

FRIDAY

At 12:08 p.m., a 52-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear warrant after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 800 block of S. Carson Street. Bail was set at $571.

At 2:22 p.m., a 22-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of petit larceny and violation of a suspended sentence after deputies responded to reports of a man taking a pair of boots from the Market Street Walmart. Bail was set at $1,250.

At 7:34 p.m., a 35-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of probation violation after deputies responded to reports of a suicidal subject near the 3600 block of Nye Lane. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 7:40 p.m., Donna Wheeler, 55, of Gardnerville was arrested on suspicion of felony domestic battery with strangulation and two counts of battery after deputies responded to Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center for a woman attacking her daughter in a vehicle. Bail was set at $22,000.

At 10:19 p.m., a 22-year-old Dayton man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and open container after deputies responded to reports of a fight near Lone Mountain Drive and Winnie Lane. Deputies located the pair near Hamilton Avenue and Carriage Crest Drive. Bail was set at $1,100.

At 10:59 p.m. a 35-year-old Dayton man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the Highway 50 Country Store. Bail was set at $1,000.

SATURDAY

At 2:50 a.m., a 40-year-old Coleville, Calif., man was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and obstructing after deputies responded to reports of a residential burglary near the 3300 block of Woodside Drive. Bail was set at $450.

At 3:58 p.m., a 23-year-old Minden man was arrested on suspicion of violation of a restraining order at the Old Clear Creek Costco. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 4:28 p.m., Donald Crabtree, 44, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony eluding, felony possession of a controlled substance, four counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of disobedience to a traffic control device after deputies attempted to initiate a traffic stop near Nye Lane and Poole Way. Crabtree led deputies on a chase to Lompa Lane and College Parkway where deputies conducted a high risk traffic stop. Bail was set at $26,580.

At 7:30 p.m., Alisha Kingsley, 23, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of less than one ounce of marijuana at the N. Carson Street Carson City Inn. Bail was set at $3,100.

At 10:24 p.m., a 45-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and disobedience to a traffic control device after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Highway 50 and Nichols Drive. Bail was set at $1,040.

SUNDAY

At 1:05 a.m., a 45-year-old Mound House woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI after deputies responded to reports of a vehicle in a ditch near the Highway 50 Country Store. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 4:41 p.m., a 45-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Lompa Lane and Highway 50. Bail was set at $500.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes.
