Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested on suspicion of battery with a deadly weapon

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

FRIDAY

At 5:20 a.m., a 24-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI, violation of bail conditions and reckless driving after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Edmonds Drive and Lompa Lane. Bail was set at $2,000.

At 12:37 p.m., a 34-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI, child endangerment, failure to maintain a lane, suspended registration and no proof of insurance after deputies responded to reports of a single vehicle accident near 5th and Curry streets. Bail was set at $4,240.

At 1:05 p.m., Estelle Wungnema, 33, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony domestic battery-third offense near the 3900 block of Village Drive. Bail was set at $15,000.

At 3:52 p.m., a 36-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery-second offense and violation of a suspended sentence after deputies responded to reports of an altercation at the William Street Smith’s. At the same incident, a 31-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court warrant. Bail for the man was set at $6,000 and bail for the woman was set at $750.

At 4:30 p.m., Brandon Kaylor, 25, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies initiated a high-risk traffic stop at the Highway 50 7-11. Bail was set at $2,500.

At 5:02 p.m., a 47-year-old Dayton man was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court after deputies initiated a traffic stop at the Carson Street O’Reilly Auto Parts. Bail was set at $500.

At 5:38 p.m., a 61-year-old Stagecoach woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the Market Street Golden Dragon. Bail was set at $2,600.

At 5:41 p.m., a 52-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of temporary protection order violation near the 1200 block of Roland Street. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 7:39 p.m., a 45-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of three counts of failure to appear warrants after deputies initiated a traffic stop at the William Street Dollar Tree. Bail was set at $2,995.

At 7:55 p.m., a 33-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and possession of marijuana after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 2000 block of William Street. Bail was set at $1,600.

At 9:10 p.m., Jimmie Reimann, 65, of Gardnerville was arrested on suspicion of felony parole and probation hold after deputies responded to reports of threats at the Carson Tahoe Hospital. No bail was set.

At 11:12 p.m., a 33-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and expired registration after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Robinson and Pratt streets. Bail was set at $1,025.

At 11:24 p.m., a 60-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after deputies initiated a traffic stop near I-580 and Arrowhead Drive. Bail was set at $1,000.

SATURDAY

At 4:49 a.m., Rafael Delgado, 35, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of felony battery with a deadly weapon and disorderly conduct after deputies responded to reports of a fight near the 2700 block of Menlo Drive. Bail was set at $30,150.

At 12:04 p.m., a 33-year-old Gardnerville woman was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear traffic after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Highway 50 and Airport Road. Bail was set at $175.

At 1:18 p.m., Eric Millan-Resendiz, 30, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, license suspended, stop sign violation, expired registration and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Northridge Drive and Lompa Lane. Bail was set at $4,100.

At 1:43 a.m., a 42-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a dangerous weapon, obstructing an officer and driving on the wrong side of the road after deputies initiated a traffic stop near 8th and Fall Streets. Bail was set at $2,840.

At 3:02 p.m., Lyden Sanders, 30, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and felony possession of a controlled substance for sales after deputies conducted a consensual stop near the Market Street Dotty’s Casino. Bail was set at $7,500.

At 4:17 p.m., Marisol Laguna, 31, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia and expired plates after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Sage and Hot Springs. Bail was set at $4,525.

At 5:43 p.m., Mason Hoover, 24, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Russell and Long. Bail was set at $2,500.

At 7:42 p.m., a 59-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of failure to comply warrant after deputies responded to reports of injured geese in the back of a vehicle at the Highway 50 Goodwill. Bail was set at $525.

At 8:11 p.m., a 39-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of false imprisonment and domestic battery near the 1400 block of Rand Avenue. Bail was set at $5,500.

At 8:33 p.m., Clint Malone, 32, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of alternative sentencing warrants after deputies responded to reports of two men frightening customers at the Market Street Dotty’s Casino. Bail was set at $9,500.

At 10:13 p.m., Mitchel Goodman, 52, of Mound House, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, DUI-second offense, possession of marijuana and obedience of a traffic control device after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Long and Molly. Bail was set at $5,640.

At 11:06 p.m., Bryan Ortiz, of Richmond, Calif., was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, child endangering, DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia and obedience to a traffic control device after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Carson and Sonoma. At the same incident, man and woman from Richmond, Calif., were arrested on suspicion of child endangerment. Bail for Ortiz was set at $7,040 and bail for the man and woman was set at $2,500 each.

At 11:23 p.m., a 49-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery near the Carson Street Frontier Motel. Bail was set at $3,000.

SUNDAY

At 12:21 a.m., a 25-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of violation of alternative sentencing after deputies responded to reports of an intoxicated subject near the Carson Street Jimmy G’s Cigar Bar. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 3:11 a.m., a 24-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI, obedience to a traffic control device and basic speed after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 1200 block of Roop Street. Bail was set at $1,085.

At 2:34 p.m., Matthew Scott, 27, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of felony grand larceny warrant after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 3300 block of Champion Street. No bail was set.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes.
