Carson City Sheriff’s Office seeking burglary suspects Cody Rogers-Shaw and Matthew Marizza

The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is seeking help in locating two suspects in a residential burglary that occurred on May 20 in Carson City.

Cody Rogers-Shaw, 23, and Matthew Marizza, 22, are suspected to be involved with the burglary and are believed to be in the Carson City, Dayton and Reno areas.

Rogers-Shaw, 23, is wanted by the State of Nevada Division of Parole and Probation as a parole absconder and felony possession of a controlled substance for sales. Rogers-Shaw is a white male, 5-feet 8-inches with brown hair and blue eyes. He also has ROGERS tattooed on his back and SHAW tattooed on his chest.

Rogers-Shaw is considered armed and dangerous.

If anyone believes they know the whereabouts of Rogers-Shaw, contact the Parole and Probation Fugitive Apprehension Unit with any information at 775-684-2600. If seen, call 911 immediately.

The second suspect, Matthew Marizza is wanted out of Carson City for contempt of court.
