Reno man arrested on suspicion of contempt of court says Carson City Sheriff’s Office

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

FRIDAY

At 3:38 p.m., a 24-year-old Reno man was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 1400 block of William Street. Bail was set at $314.

At 4:38 p.m., Jonathan Huttman, 18, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, felony possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of marijuana under 21, stop sign violation and license plate improperly displayed after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 1700 block of Camille. Bail was set at $8,575.

At 5:31 p.m., a 28-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of failure to stop at a sign, no valid driver’s license, fictitious registration and no proof of insurance after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Robinson and Harbin, Bail was set at $740.

SATURDAY

At 12:07 a.m., a 30-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of obtaining money under false pretenses and violation of a suspended sentence after deputies responded to reports of a larceny at the Market Street Walmart. Bail was set at $3,500.

At 4:09 p.m., a 65-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit grand larceny warrant and contempt of court after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 1600 block of N. Carson Street. Bail was set at $20,500.

At 7:17 p.m., Keith Price Jr., 34, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies conducted a pedestrian stop near Continental and Woodside Drive. Bail was set at $3,500.

At 7:26 p.m., a Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear after deputies conducted a business check at the Carson Street Dotty’s Casino. Bail was set at $295.

At 7:56 p.m., a 29-year-old Reno man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a concealed weapon after deputies responded to reports of street racing on Carson River Road. Bail was set at $2,500.

At 7:56 p.m., a 54-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of trespassing, disorderly conduct and obstructing after deputies responded to reports of a highly intoxicated man at the Carson Street Max Casino. Bail was set at $600.

At 8:31 p.m., a 47-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of violation of bail conditions after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 3000 block of Sherman Lane. No bail was set.

At 9:57 p.m., a 33-year-old Dayton man was arrested on suspicion of violation of a suspended sentence after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Gordon and Fairview. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 10:40 p.m., Tonya Young, 28, and Juanita Young, 50, both of Carson City were arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies conducted a pedestrian stop near the Highway 50 Dotty’s Casino. Bail was set at $3,500.

At 10:47 p.m., a 34-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery near Condor Circle. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 11:05 p.m., a 25-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI, stop sign violation and cell phone use after deputies initiated a traffic stop near La Loma Drive and Selby Street. Bail was set at $1,100.

SUNDAY

At 1:45 a.m., a 22-year-old San Jacinto, Calif., woman was arrested on suspicion of resisting a peace officer and disorderly conduct after deputies responded to reports of a fight at the Carson Street Jimmy G’s Cigar Bar. Bail was set at $400.

At 3:19 p.m., a 30-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery-second offense warrant after deputies responded to reports of a suspicious subject near the 900 block of Roop Street. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 7:10 p.m., a 23-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery warrant after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 1900 block of N. Carson Street. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 11:52 p.m., Tiara Thomas, 28, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony domestic battery-third offense near the 200 block of Fleischmann Way. Bail was set at $15,000.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes.
