Phyllis May Detomasi, long time Fallon resident passed away at her home on January 23, 2019. Phyllis was born April 25, 1929 in McGill, Nevada to Edward and Lula Harris.
Phyllis, with her husband Robert Jack Detomasi, lived in Sparks and Reno before moving to Fallon in 1964.
Phyllis was the head cook for E C Best, a career that lasted 25 years . Not to sit idle after retirement she volunteered at the Senior Center, working in the gift shop for over 20 years.
Preceded in death by her husband “Jack” Detomasi; granddaughter, Audrey Whitaker and brother, Edward Harris.
Phyllis is survived by her children, daughter, Lauri Whitaker; sons, Taylor, Garn and Arlene, Dom, Wade and Vicki; grandchildren, Amanda Bracken, Nathan Bracken, Aaron Detomasi, Tyler and Trever Detomasi, Darby Rowe, Kyle Detomasi, Liza Detomasi, Nickie Detomasi; great-grandchildren Kristen, Kaden, Kiley Detomasi and Jack Rowe; sisters, Dora Stark and Rayola Webb; numerous nieces and nephews.
Phyllis was an active member of the LDS Church. Services will be held on Monday, February 4, 2019 at 11 A M at the LDS Church, 450 N. Taylor St. in Fallon.
