Carson High School band director Nick Jacques, who marches in the Tournament of Roses Parade Saturday, reports the Saluting America's Band Directors band is headed off to rehearsal Friday in Pasadena. Band directors representing a number of communities across the country have come together and have been playing together since Tuesday getting ready for their 5.5 mile walk along Colorado Boulevard Saturday. Jacques said afterward today, they will have a chance to see their float and perform during the float judging.
