Dolan Auto Group Class Project community voting ends Thursday

Community voting on the Dolan Auto Group Class Project is taking place through Oct. 21 on class project ideas and videos submitted by local teachers.

This year, Dolan Auto Group raised its donation amount and will provide $100,000 to area classrooms, including a grand prize winner of $10,000 with the top video voted on by the community, 13 classrooms with $5,000 prize winnings and five classrooms with $5,000 prize winnings, all voted upon by the teachers who submitted videos.

Class projects have been shared by video and include local schools in Carson City including Bordewich Bray Elementary, Empire Elementary, Mark Twain Elementary, Fritsch Elementary, Carson Middle, Eagle Valley Middle, Carson High and Pioneer Academy.

This year’s submissions have been posted in a gallery format for voting.

Teachers who submit a video will have the opportunity to vote on the project that did not win during the community voting process. Teacher voting will occur Oct. 22-26, and teachers will be contacted prior to those dates for instructions.
