The U.S. Senate has confirmed Jason Frierson of Las Vegas as the U.S. Attorney for Nevada. Frierson, a Democrat, is currently speaker of the Nevada Assembly and a public defense attorney in Las Vegas. Nevada Sens. Catherine Cortez Masto and Jacky Rosen, both Democrats, applauded the confirmation saying Frierson is dedicated and will lead the office with integrity and protect public safety.
