Escape rooms offer a challenging experience, problem-solving and build camaraderie.
The Carson City Library is offering teens an opportunity to escape this month. The library’s digitorium will transform into a submarine that’s become stuck and is leaking water – passengers need to solve the puzzles and find the key to escape.
The program is free, and a limited number of spots remain for sessions taking place Saturday, July 23 and Friday, July 29. Advance registration is required. The escape room supports the library’s summer reading challenge, “Oceans of Possibilities” running through Aug. 6.
The library transformed into an underwater reading heaven with coral reefs, orca and blue whales, and manta rays swimming overhead to inspire the community to read a cumulative total of 400,000 minutes throughout the challenge weeks.
Interested participants can register online at www.carsoncitylibrary.org
