Two restaurants on South Carson Street closed their doors as of Monday: Buffalo Wild Wings at 3815 S. Carson and Arnulfo’s Mexican Food at 1250 S. Carson.

Sunday was Arnulfo’s last day serving food, according to a message posted on the front door of the building. The message was posted in Spanish and English.

“And we want to say thank you for your support all the time,” reads the message.

According to Yelp, the location was formerly a Super Burrito and Sombreros Mexican restaurant.

The Appeal couldn’t find a message at the entrance of Buffalo Wild Wings on Monday, but construction personnel were removing items from the store. Boxes stood in the foyer. Workers on site refused to give their names but confirmed the restaurant closed over the weekend.

Sean Patterson, kitchen manager of Buffalo Wild Wings in Sparks, confirmed by phone the Sparks location will remain open.

The Appeal sent emails about the Carson closure to Buffalo Wild Wings’ parent company, Inspire Brands, but received no reply. According to the company’s website, Inspire Brands was founded in 2018 “following Arby’s acquisition of Buffalo Wild Wings and Rusty Taco, launching the company’s vision of bringing together a portfolio of distinct, highly-valued brands.”

Other restaurant chains with the company include Dunkin,’ Jimmy John’s, Baskin Robbins and Sonic.

Buffalo Wild Wings opened at the Carson location in 2013.
