Update as of 4 p.m. – Lyon County said the water main leak has been repaired and Dayton Valley Road is open to normal traffic.

As of 2:30 p.m., the Lyon County Utilities Department is responding to a water main leak on Dayton Valley Road in Dayton. The Lyon County Roads Department has placed temporary lane restrictions for eastbound traffic from Lakes Boulevard to Hillcrest Circle. Anticipate delays and congestion in the area while crews repair the leak, which could take several hours.
