CHS announces Homecoming candidates, activities

Carson High School kicked off Homecoming week Friday with its student-selected candidates. Carson High Homecoming celebrations kicked off Friday afternoon with an assembly, and student-elected candidates were announced. The weeklong events will feature day and nighttime activities, including dress-up days, a bonfire, games, raffles, decoration contests and more. 

The Homecoming activities will culminate Friday, Sept. 29 with a parade on the football field at 6:30 p.m. and the official coronation during halftime of the varsity football game. Additionally, the school will be collecting new books and Legos to donate to the Renown Children’s Hospital. 

Candidates making up the King’s Homecoming Court include Christian Galvez Hernandez, Dom Gambol, Todd Gosselin, Isaiah Hurlbert, Zach Laaker and Lucus Wold.

Candidates making up the Queen’s Homecoming Court include Misha Fajayan, Arene LeBlanc, Ashley Ortiz-Rodriguez, Bridgette Paz, Ziah Rizo and Anna Turner.
