The Carson City Treasurer’s Office is asking homeowners and real property owners to double-check that they have paid the full amount of any required real property taxes or fees for the current tax year, which runs through June 30.

March 4 marked the due date for the payment of the fourth and final installment of property taxes for this current property tax year, and property owners must have all real property taxes paid now for any parcels they own.

If a homeowner or real property owner has not paid required real property taxes, penalties, or other fees by May 1, state law requires the county treasurer to publish a list in a newspaper which serves that county the names of taxpayers whose real property taxes remain delinquent.

Because Nevada law requires this publication, the Carson City Treasurer’s Office has begun work to put together the required list of property owner names, parcel numbers, and amounts owed for publication in the Nevada Appeal of any real properties that remain delinquent in Carson City after May 1.

Homeowners and real property owners can check if they have submitted required payments and fees for their properties by visiting https://carsoncitynv.devnetwedge.com/. If a homeowner or real property owner discovers that they need to submit a payment for any outstanding property taxes or fees owed, they can make payments online at www.carson.org/taxes, or can mail checks to or make payments in-person at the Carson City Treasurer’s Office located at 201 N. Carson St., Suite 5, Carson City, Nevada 89701.
