 NOTICE OF PRIMARY ELECTION -- JUNE 11, 2024 -- CARSON CITY, NEVADA 

Pursuant to NRS 293.203 notice is hereby given that the Carson City Primary Election will be held on June 11, 2024. 

All active registered voters in Carson City will receive their ballot by mail the first week of May unless they have opted out of receiving a mail in ballot. Voters will be able to mark their ballot at home and return it by mail using the postage pre-paid envelope provided or drop off at the polling location or by delivering it in-person to the Clerk’s office located at 885 E. Musser St., Suite 1025. 

Nevada conducts closed primary elections. Voters may only vote in a major party race if affiliated with that party. All voters may vote for nonpartisan local races. Voters are encouraged to confirm their voter registration is current, including address and mailing address (if any) and political party affiliation, prior to receiving their ballot. Please visit the Nevada Secretary of State’s online voter registration link (www.RegisterToVoteNV.gov) or you may contact the Clerk’s office (775)887-2087. 

Upcoming voter registration deadlines: 

April 12, 2024 

Mail Ballot Opt out form submission if the voter does NOT wish to receive a mail in ballot. 

May 14, 2024: 

Standard close of postmarked mail or in-person voter registration. 

May 29 - June 11, 2024: 

Individuals registering to vote online or updating their voter registration online must appear at the polling location during Early Voting or on Election Day and provide a valid Nevada Driver’s License or Nevada Identification Card and proof of residency.
