A funeral for Clifford Allan Davis, 52, a Carson City resident for the past 18 years, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at Walton's.

Mr. Davis died Jan. 21, 2004, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital.

He was born Sept. 2, 1951, in Pasadena, Calif., to Robert T. and Emma E. Jones Davis. He grew up in Altadena, Calif.

After high school he moved to New York City for seven years, returning to Carson City and then to Modesto where he lived until 1985 when he moved to Carson City.

Mr. Davis was a heavy equipment mechanic and worked for Arizona Pipeline for several years. He loved boating, skiing and working on cars.

He was preceded in death by his father on Dec. 20, 2003.

Among his survivors are his fiancee, Beth Argetsinger of Carson City; sons Danny of Kerman, Calif., and Clifford Jr. of Carson City; daughter and son-in-law Sherry and Bobbie Moore of Anna, Texas; daughter Sabrina Davis of Carson City; mother Emma Davis, and brother and sister-in-law Thomas F. and Concetta, all of Carson City; and nephew, Robbie Davis of Reno.

Burial will be at Eastside Memorial Park at 11 a.m. Monday.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
