A memorial service for Nicholas Anthony "Tony" Atlan, 22, a five-year resident of Carson City, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mountain View Mortuary, 425 Stoker Ave., Reno.
He died Feb. 13, 2006, in Reno. He was born Aug. 6, 1983, in Reno, to Maurice Atlan and Deanna Shelton.
He graduated from Carson High School in 2002.
He attended Truckee Meadows Community College, where he studied to be a certified nursing assistant.
He worked in construction.
He served in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his father in March 1992, in Reno.
Among his survivors are his wife, Jenee, and daughters Sterling, 4, and Satine, 7 months, all of Carson City; mother and stepfather Deanna and Jack Shelton, of Dobbins, Calif.; sisters Kimberly Holtzer, of Stockton, Calif., and Melissa and Katie Rios, of Reno; and brothers Domonic, of Ione, Calif., Pierre, of Paris, France, Marcel, of England, and Cory, of Stockton.
Mountain View Mortuary in Reno is in charge of arrangements.
